S&T Policy Dialogue for State Ministries Upon the successful hosting of the Experts Forum, the need to mount a similar programme for STI managers in the States was recommended by the participants. To effect this request, NACETEM organises the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Dialogue for Managers of STI in cognate State Ministries. The STI Dialogue provides STI managers and technocrats at the State level the opportunity of rubbing minds with professionals and academia, thereby gaining insight into the workings of the STI system and how it should be managed. The maiden edition took place in November 2007. The attendance was not as high as we anticipated. The next is scheduled to hold in March 2010 and we look forward to participation of all states and local governments. |
