In the last one year NACETEM South-West Zonal Office in Lagos, under the leadership of the Zonal Director, Yusuf Mohammad, has been actively involved in capacity building activities in line with our mandates. The office has mounted workshops in various parts of the country. These workshops include:

• Accelerated Human Capacity Development for Technical and Vocational Education Institutes: Policies and Strategies held on 12th - 14th May 2009 in Ilorin, Kwara State.
• National Workshop on Technological Enterpreneurship Development for Industrial Productivity and Competitiveness in Small Business held on 7th - 9th October 2008 in Otta, Ogun State.
• In-plant Management Development Workshop organized for Middle Management Staff of National Board for Technical Education, Kaduna held on 26th - 28th June 2008 in Kaduna, Kaduna State. (USER NEED COURSE)
• National Workshop on Strategic Management of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) for Economic Development in Nigeria held on 27th -29th May 2008 in Lokoja, Kogi State.

The office also organized short term training courses in the area of ICT under the following titles:

• Essential Computing Skills for Beginners
• Computer Application to Financial Management
• ICT tools for Teaching in Educational Institutions
• Internet Administration and Networking
• ICT Application for Prevention and Control of cyber-crimes
