The Centre engages in policy research projects in order to realise its mandates. These projects enable the Centre to provide expert advice in the areas of S&T policies and management. The centre also engages in collaborative research with local and international organisations.

Development of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Indicators for Nigeria

The need to develop an acceptable set of STI indicators for monitoring, benchmarking, evaluating and forecasting STI performance in Nigeria for the overall planning purposes gave rise to this project, which has been integrated into the New Partnership for African Development, Office of Science and Technology (NEPAD OST), African Science, Technology and Innovation Initiatives (ASTII) in 2008.
