NACETEM REPRESENTED AT GLOBELICS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The 2011 International Conference of the Global Network for the Economics of Learning, Innovation and Competence Building Systems (GLOBELICS) had two NACETEM researchers in attendance. The two officers, Dr. Boladale Adebowale and Mr. Seye Jegede, presented papers at the conference which was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina with the theme Creativity, Innovation and Economic Development.
The conference took place between 14th and 17th November, 2011 and it focused on a wide range of issues in Technology Management: Innovation Policies, Learning and Innovation and economic development. Dr Adebowale presented a paper titled, Innovation Policies and Sector Development: A Case of the Oil Sector in Nigeria and Malaysia while Mr. Jegede presented a paper titled, Assessment of Innovation Capability in the Indigenous Oilfield Servicing Firms in Nigeria.

Participants at the programme were drawn from the United States, South Africa, Denmark, Malaysia, South Africa, Norway and the UK.
