NACETEM SENDS 34 MEMBERS OF STAFF ON COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

Members of staff drawn from the various departments and zonal offices of NACETEM were sent for a competency development training in Lokoja from the 27th to 30th of September, 2011. The workshop, which was organised by Kenokit Consults, addressed issues such as personal career growth, financial management, office security management, critical thinking and decision making.

The Director-General/CEO of NACETEM was represented at the opening ceremony by the Deputy Director, Planning and Documentation, Mr. Afolabi who declared that the training could not have come at a better time than now when the Centre is expected to contribute significantly to government’s Transformation Agenda.

Participants at the workshop lauded the management for giving them the opportunity to undergo the training and they announced that they had been equipped for productivity. Similar capacity development workshops have been organised for members of staff in Ada, Osun State and Ilorin, Kwara State in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
