The Education Trust Fund (ETF) has commissioned the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM) to conduct an impact assessment of the micro-science kits funded by ETF to secondary schools nationwide.

In a memo titled "Engagement as consultant to assess the impact of the supply of Skill 'G' micro-science kits to schools under the special Nigeria/UNESCO Science Education Project" and signed by the Ag. Executive Secretary of ETF, Engr S.O. Agunbiade, NACETEM was commissioned to:

• generally appraise the micro-science kits supplied to selected secondary schools by Skill 'G' Ltd, NASENI and NMC and
• Evaluate and assess the project and the use of the kits in the beneficiary institutions.

The micro-science kits were supplied by Skill 'G' Ltd, the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and the National Mathematical Centre (NMC).

The project has since commenced with the completion of the field survey conducted by experts from NACETEM in the selected secondary schools nationwide.
