The Centre is currently carrying out two projects in collaboration with NEPAD-Office of Science and Technology and the World Bank. These projects are:
- Development of Science , Technology and Innovation Indicators for Nigeria (in collaboration with NEPAD-OST who also provide funding support for the project).
The primary objective is to develop an acceptable set of STI indicators for monitoring, benchmarking, evaluating and forecasting STI performance in Nigeria for strategic short- medium- and long-term planning aimed at strengthening developmental activities and stimulating economic growth.
- Technological Entrepreneurial Attitudinal Status in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions( with research grant from World Bank)
The Centre recently secured a World Bank grant under the Science and Technology Post Basic (STEP B) project to carry out a more detailed study on the Technological Entrepreneurial Attitudinal status in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions. The project seeks to examine the existing structure for entrepreneurial skill development and design appropriate framework to strengthen the technological entrepreneurial culture in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
